An example of “working” American health care system. At what point you fools realize that the health insurance merely works as long as you are healthy. Otherwise, you can kiss your life goodbye. Either let the regulators rein on the system or make it universal. I don’t want the latter but the former is broken and teabaggers are hell bent against offering any solution to fix it. Fight the ignorance.
A solution: I was covered with pre-exsisting conditions by the Texas Risk Pool and had back surgery the same month. This is what the Pool is for. I got Blue Cross. You have to pay for the coverage. which is about the same as in on the open market. You have to live in TX, Apply on LIne.. 3 weeks till acceptance. very reasonable process. I have been there, and was saved by this option.
(back again) Good Luck, none of us should have to go through this alone. Dont count on much with Obama, his health care is not what was promised, he is now causing people with good insurance to loose it and the ones that need it and cant afford it, will still not be able to afford. Also look into Mexico, I had friends that moved there for her husbands health because the cost was so cheap to afford and there are many American communities there.

You go girl, I have been trying to talk my ex into marriage for the last year for the same reason. I live in FL he lives in OR and upon death everything still goes to our children, so whats the problem, its to much to think about for him, so i continue without insurance. I pay $800.00 a month for health insurance, that sucks but with the help of our elected officials that are owned by the insurance companys we will keep feeding the wealthy.

PS: Sometimes when you are double insured copays are waived.
